Galician election prominent in Spanish agenda

Differently as prior cases, Galician elections can be seen as ranked highly by Spanish political parties. In the conservative side, Galician ex-President and current President of the PP will move to Galicia in order to ensure permanent presence during the campaign. Similarly, ex-President José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero has been taking part in different meetings, with current President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez taking part in meetings as well. Deputy President of the Spanish Government, Yolanda Díaz, is espected as well, after having take part in the launch of her project.

Analysis

High level presence of first rank Spanish politicians with this level of committment is not the usual case. Galician elections have been seen usually as second-rank elections. The presence of PP leader can be seen as an attempt to transform Galician elections as part of the Spanish agenda, with the PSOE-degrading questioning of the the amnesty law, and the questioning of the legitimacy of Pedro Sanchez position. The presence of PSOE leaders can be seen as an attempt to avoid an even further deterioration of their Galician electoral results. A succesful attempt to move the Galician agenda to the Spanish one would likely be more beneficial for PP than PSOE with the current information. Visible presence of Yolanda Díaz can be seen as the only plausible vehicle for improvement in the likelihood of Sumar, in the current situation.

Parametrization

Significantly decrease chances for PSOE if PP manages to move the Spanish agenda to Spain. Slightly increas chances for PSOE if leaders manage to get prominence in media. Slightly increase chance of Sumar if Yolanda Díaz manages to get focus of media. Slightly decrease chances to PP if Feijóo leadership gets significantly questioned.
